Nato bombs serbia 1999
Crisis In Kosovo
The NATO bombings of Serbia were a 78 day air strike as a result during the Kosovo War. The bombings lasted from March 24, 1999 to June 10, 1999. Kosovo during this time was a part of Yugoslavia. Yugoslavia is made up of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, and Slovenia. The Kosovo War occurred from February 28, 1998 to June 11, 1999. Since Kosovo was a part of Yugoslavia, it was under the control of the Serbian and Montenegrin republics. In 1995, the Kosovo Liberation Army launched its rebellion on Serbia's law enforcement in Kosovo. Kosovo rebelled because the Albanian population in Kosovo was being perscuted by Serbian poilice. The United states/NATO did not have the right to bomb serbia because all of the conflict was south of Serbia, the U.S. had no part in any of the conflict, and the U.S used the airstrike to save more innocent people, when it killed more innocent people. |

ClaimsSerbia as a whole, is a large country, and durring the conflict with Kosovo all Serbian military troops and "threats", as the US and NATO would say, were stationed south of Serbia, more in Kosovo.
